2015-05-08来源:和谐英语

In the Madrid Open in Spain, With the European clay-court swing of the ATP Tour well underway, the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal has not diplayed the dominance we have come to expect on his favourite surface. But the Spaniard is continuing to show glimpses of the form that has won him a record nine French Open titles as he took on Simone Bolelli in Round Three.

Nadal, serving at 5-2 in the second set after winning the first frame. Bolelli sends a backhand out wide and that sets up the drop shot, but Rafa chases it down. Bolelli lobs it over him, but Nadal will return in kind with an even better lob that just catches the line. A big fist pump and the fans show their appreciation.

On match point, Bolelli returns wide and Nadal takes the set 6-2 to move on to the quarter-finals and continue his quest for a fifth title in Madrid.

Andy Murray serving against Marcel Granollers at 2-0 in the second set after the Scot won the first. He clips the net and is then on the back foot, but the Spaniard can't put the smash away and Murray recovers with a beautiful passing shot to take it.

We go to match point, and Granollers sends his backhand just long. The umpire comes running over to confirm it is out and Murray moves on to the quarter-finals in just 65 minutes after a dominant win.

Hard hitting Milos Raonic of Canada in the near court against Leonardo Mayer of Argentina. And Raonic takes this with a forehand winner just out of Mayer's reach.

On match point, the Canadian's serve is simply too powerful and Raonic wins in straight sets to book his spot in the quarter-finals and an appointment with Andy Murray.

Kei Nishikori returning against Robert Bautista Agut. Great point here as the Spaniard tries a drop shot, but Nishikori gets to it. And that's met by a weak overhead which the Japanese has no trouble in sending to the open court.

On match point, Bautista Agut finds the net with his return and it's all over. Nishikori will be taking on last year's runner-up, David Ferrer, in the quarter-finals.
