名人教英文：恶人先告状…桌子掉转了

世事，有时候明明是你忠他奸，明明你是受害人，you are the victim，对方却可以恶人先告状，大剌剌地猥琐，反过来说他是好人，你才是坏人，用英文口语讲：he's the goodie, and you are the baddie instead。

大至政府，小至个人，都会上演这款捩横折曲、恶人先告状。恶人，不必直译villain，讲the guilty party、the baddy（众数baddies）就好。而先告状的“先”，有先下手为强之意，英文是to pre-empt、take a pre-emptive measure。告状，就很有点旧日的封建历史味道，现代西方的说法，是to sue、to file a suit、to file a complaint。

于是，一句“看他的态度，简直就系恶人先告状！”可译做：

see the way he behaves. it's just like the guilty party filing a suit first, to pre-empt action by the victim.

上面这句英文，终归啰里啰嗦。说的既然是忠奸角色掉转，英文另有一句：the tables are turned，桌子掉转了。说的掉转，除了身分，还可形容强弱、输赢等局面。
