Fears of Cheating, False Polls Could Spell Election Day Trouble

Election Day could mean trouble here in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump has said it.

"The only way we can lose, in my opinion, I really mean this, Pennsylvania, is if cheating goes on."

And die-hard supporter John Larkin believes it."I don’t know where they get the chase ahead, I never see it, anywhere."All the polls putting Clinton ahead don’t match his reality on the ground."Sometimes I think the polls are rigged, sometimes I think that they’re lying about the polls. From talking about politics all day, everyone that I talk to is mainly for Trump, so how he’s falling behind, I have no idea."

Here at campaign office, volunteer Sondra Dull says Trump supporters are already working to stop the alleged setup."A lot of them, when they feel it’s a polling phone call, they won’t answerbecause they don’t want to jinx the election, so they’re being quiet, they’re being secretive."

Volunteers like Dull will be watching polling places on Election Day after Trump put out a call for observers on his website.Tricia Cunnigham is taking those names and training those volunteers.“We are building up a mass force and a mass army across the state, but it’s going national too as well.“And she says nothing will get by them.“We have social media, we have the Internet, you know, people...it’s a lot more transparency this election than any other election and I really truly believe that nobody is going to get away with anything this election."

Local Republican Parties are planning on ways to work with the volunteers.“They will align with our local communities, we always have poll watchers at pretty much the major polling locations, and they’re always watching for issues that are happening there. And if they see issues, like I said, they call the hot line, they call our legal team and we can deploy right away.

The anticipation of trouble could make for an uneasy mix at polling places with challenges throwing the final results into doubt.

Already distrustful of the system, Trump volunteers say this time will be different."People are gonna be a lot more ware, so there is gonna be a lot more intensity."

And that community contest is stretch as well past the Election Day this November.
