Footage filmed by passengers shows what appear to be the remnants of the improvised bomb. A buckets on fire inside a plastic shopping bag with wires protruding from inside. The explosion happened during the Capital’s morning peak rush hour at Parsons Green in the west of the city.

US President Donald Trump was briefed on the attack by security services.

The president wrote on Twitter that British police already knew the attacker.Britain’s Prime Minister offered this response.
