Khaldoun immigrated to the U.S.in 2015 and his brother Majd Alghatrif a few years earlier.

Together,they opened up Syriana Gallery last December in an 18th century building in an elegant city neighborhood that they say it resembles their hometown As-Suwayda in Syria.
