For about three years now this team has been working on a mobile health app for HIV patients.

Joel Gasana the head of the team is a medical student at a nearby university.

The app that they’ve created will help HIV patients keep up with their treatment.

Rwanda has a very high prevalence of HIV,which is about 3.3 percent of the population.And that as showing that more than twenty seven percent of people on medication,they are not adherent.That’s what pushed me to create an application which will help us to make sure that all patients are into medication.
卢旺达的艾滋病毒感染率很高,约占人口的3.3%,而且据显示,有超过27%的患者接受药物治疗,但没有按时服药,这就是促使我开发一个确保所有患者都服用药物的应用程序。
The team has been selected to compete for an innovation prize at this year’s Next Einstein Forum held in Rwanda.
