As UN ambassador Haley was a vocal defender of some of Donald Trump’s most controversial policies including his decision to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem,cut aid to Palestinian leaders in refugees and withdraw from the UN Human Rights Council.But Haley at times diverged from the president.She is an outspoken critic of Russia and that created friction with the president and she is a supporter of free trade.
