侗族人庆祝春节

Southeastern Guizhou Province has long been home to China’s Dong ethnic minority. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, Dong people have been holding a variety of traditional folk events.
东南的贵州省长期以来都是中国少数民族侗族的发源地。为了庆祝龙年，侗族举行了各种传统的民间活动。

The "Dong Big Song" is called gallaox in their own language. Thousands of participants sing together in multi-part harmony to express their wishes and blessings for the New Year.
《侗族大歌》在他们的语言里被称为gallaox。数千名参加者在多部和声中一起歌唱，表达他们的新年愿望和祝福。

Wu Xiuguang, Dong singer, said, "The song is called Auspicious Year of Dragon. The lyrics are about our wish for a happy new year."

Besides the "Big Song", there is the big feast that also has thousands of participants. Those gathered sing another song before drinking wine.
除了“大歌”之外，还有一场数千人参加的盛会。在饮酒之前，这些人聚集在一起唱另一首歌。

A tourist said, "Dong people are very passionate and pure. And the food is so good!"
