Kurdish forces in northeast Syria say they have pulled out of the rebel town of Ras al-Ayn, which has been besieged by the Turkish military. Civilians are also reportedly leaving. Earlier, a large convey was seen taking away the wounded. The withdrawal of Kurdish militia is part of a U.S brokered deal.

Lebanon's coalition government has reported to have agreed on wide-ranging economic reforms after the biggest protests in decades swept the country. Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators have filled the center of Beirut for the 4th day running.

The green party has made historic gains in Swiss parliamentary election, pulling itself in a position to claim share of power. The right-wing Swiss people's party, which has not committed to tough action on climate change lost ground but was still emerged as the main force.

The authorities in Chile have extended the curfew in major cities to a second consecutive night. The announcement follows another day of clashes between police and protesters in the capital Santiago. Looting and rioting were spread to the other areas.

Bolivian voters have been deciding whether to give the country's left-wing president Evo Morales a 4th term. The authorities say the voting went ahead without major incidents. Mr.Morales first took office 14 years ago.

The speaker of Britain's lower house of parliament John Bercow is expected to reject an attempt by the government to hold another vote on its Brexit deal on Monday. It's understood Mr.Bercow believes allowing the vote to go ahead would defy parliamentary convention.

Footage of Tanzanian president John Magufuli delivering a speech has been shown on television following speculation about his health. Social media have been rife with rumors that the president might be seriously ill after he wasn't seen for several days.

Donald Trump's acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney has said the president still considers himself to be in the hospitality business. Mulvaney was attempting to explain why the U.S president wanted to host next year's G7 summit at one of his resorts in Florida, a plan he has now abandoned.
