新加坡的绿色摩天大楼
Breaking Ground, in association with Suntech Unlimited, empowering a solar tomorrow.
Singapore's newest eco-friendly skyscraper--Asia Square, designed by Denton Corker Marshall and Architect 61 is breaking ground in sustainable design. Insulated-glass windows maximize natural daylight within the building, while minimizing the transfer heat into the interior. Photo and motion sensors around Asia Square also reduce the need for artificial lighting. Solar panels turn sunlight into electricity, powering up the building. And in order to reuse the building's waste, used cooking oil from Asia Square is recycled and converted into biodiesel energy in the building's own waste recycling facility.
