From airports to schools to offices, architects and engineers are trying to tailor buildings for the people inside.I called them first of all, sentient buildings or cognitive building.These are built environments that physically sense, perceive and reason what’s happening within them. In an office space, researchers are working on the best way to integrate commercially available sensors into a building to maximize personalized comfort and productivity.
