President Widodo said the move was a matter of urgency. Jakarta, the current capital is a n overcrowded, traffic choke city that is sinking fast. East Kalimantan in Indonesia on Borneo has been chosen as the new seat of government for various reasons. It's geographically in the center of the country's archipelago and it's relatively free of volcanoes and the threat of earthquakes.
